Arctic cold and it seeps into your bones, drives you indoors and makes it so you don't want to go out. Maybe ever again.
But the weather folks are saying that this is supposed to start to melt and slush sometime today.
Fingers crossed, because I'm not sure I can stand the many clothing changes Alice requires for outdoor adventures.

what a fun snow cave! Elora loves to play outside in the snow, but I hate how wet she gets. I feel sad for her that she hasn't been able to play outside much now that she's in school (Except for recess of course.) Especially since we bought her a new pair of snow pants this year! Of course, in Everett snow pants probably wouldn't be very practical most of the time.
