501

Not just for jeans anymore. Also for blogs called The Creamery. Today is my five hundred and first post.

I think we should celebrate. How should we celebrate? By welcoming a new addition to the sidebar, and a new addition to The Creamery lexicon: THE E-MINIONS. Hello there, Minions! If you'd care to be a Minion, go on over there and add yourself. I might be having future contests and fun stuff for just the Minions, so consider yourself warned.

How else should we celebrate? You guys have given so much to me, it only seems fair that I should give a little something to you. A little something in the form of a giveaway. I'm going to be giving away a very fun sock-pod much like this one here (though a slightly different color scheme).

The package might also contain a couple of other fun handmade goodies.

How to enter? Leave a comment telling me your favorite breakfast cereal. We've been eating out of a box of Lucky Charms the last few days and it's just hit the spot, yo. Though usually my cereal du jour is Special K. You know what, though? I miss the old Special K. It used to be shaped like these little inverted cups, all thin and crispy. I loved sprinkling some sugar on my cereal and it would collect in the little crispy cups. Good times.

ANYWAY. Favorite cereal: GO! (I'll do a random number generator thingy and pick a winner next Monday, 9/21.)

Favorite cereal - Frosted Flakes! Yeah.

It's SO hard to choose.

I love Lucky Charms and Frosted Flakes but I'm going to have to say Honey Combs!

#1 most favorite - Raisin Bran Crunch
I do love a huge bowl of Captain Crunch with Crunchberries every once and a while though. After that the roof of my mouth is raw for days! :)

Lucky Charms! I wish they could color the marshmallows with natural food colorings, but it wouldn't wake you up in the mornings.

At the risk of being thought of as a fiber-loving, octogenarian here, my current favorite is All-Bran Yogurt Bites. Bring on the mocking - I love it and I'm not afraid to admit it anymore!

Quaker Oats Oatmeal Squares with a hint of Cinnamon - it's Shelby's favorite, too. YUMMY! (pick me, Mr. Random Number Generator Thingy, pick ME!) K8

My all time favorite is Cap'n Crunch with Crunch Berries.

I haven't really been a cereal eater much in my post-college life, but I used to also really like Cracklin' Oat Bran (do they even make that anymore?). Good stuff, though we used to refer to it as "Colon Blow" (thank you Phil Hartman).

As a kid I loved Franken Berry, but I don't think they even make that anymore.

As an old lady, I like Honey Nut Cheerios or Frosted Mini Wheats. Unless I'm being really bad, then I like Fruit Loops (the reduced sugar, at least).

I like cereal, can you tell? I've never been a fan of Lucky Charms, though.

My favorite is Golden Grahams. Sadly, they're almost $5 a box, so we've been getting the generic. Not quite as good, but Almost $3 cheaper.

My favorite is one I haven't had it in while. It is the cream o'wheat cereal with some type of creamery (of course). I only got to have this when I was in the hospital after I had a baby..... I know that's weird. I can have the cereal but never was able to find out where to get the cream they used with it.. "{

I think my favorite morning cereal is a little unconventional compared to the rest of the replies. I love "arroz con pasas" which is rice and raisins when translated literally from Spanish.
My Mom used to make this warm sweet rice pudding-like stuff with raisins in it. It was great with cinammon and brown sugar.

I don't know if it counts but there's this song my Mom inevitably sings to accompany it but that's all in Spanish, too, so I won't subject you to it all.

I WANT that sock-pod. When you first posted a picture of that cute one right up there, I actually showed it to my husband (who is generally annoyed with my blogfoolery), and we both agreed you should open an etsy store. Anyway, I am willing your random number generator to choose me.

Favorite breakfast cereal? Peanut butter Cap'n Crunch. Frosted Flakes a close second.

We prefer the bagged fakey cereals, so I'd have to say marshmallow mateys are the best. But, these days I don't have enough time to pick out each marshmallow to eat after all the oats, so I'd have to go with Crunchy Corn Bran

Ummm...ok, maybe I'm old, but I eat Bran Flakes, usually wheat. I really love them though! The ipod case is adorable too.

HOW did I not comment before? I LOVE cereal! I LOVE free things! I'd LOVE that ipod sock!

Favorite cereal: oatmeal with brown sugar (we elderly ladies like our fiber.)
