the best i can do with what i've got

In the midst of another teething binge.

Is my child a shark or something?

WILL THE TEETHING NEVER END?

Am considering gnawing my own foot off.

As is Alice.

Something that I never considered, after all my complaining about the (lack of) communication with my child--- now that I can understand a decent number of her requests, and she knows it, I am now unable to feign ignorance as she is loudly demanding her paci/woobie/inappropriate snack item (i.e. cat crunchies). Now I actually have to say NO and deal with the aftermath--- or I give in.

I'll give you one guess as to what I've been doing for the past day and a half.

See you on the other side, internets.

The fun never ends.

Solace - I strongly dislike Langston. I want to smack her. Will I ever like her? If it weren't for your instruction to go pick the book back up once you got sick of Langston, I probably wouldn't be finishing it. I got hooked once Amos described what happened with Alice.

Wait until all those hard-fought teeth start to FALL out. And here's a public service message for you:
No matter how loose the tooth is, do not accept the dentist's offer to remove it. Why? Because they charge you $80 (after insurance) for what a parent or embittered sibling will do for FREE (heck, the embittered sibling might even PAY for the opportunity).
