a prescription for what ails you

A two-year-old dreaming in her bed, softly snoring.

Silent house, floor boards resting.

Hot water in the tub, quietly steaming.

A new book, pages waiting.

Chunky oatmeal cookie, raisins and cinnamoning.

The peace of the moment, to allow for some resting.

Yes. I ate that cookie in the bathtub. And it was DELICIOUS.
Tell me something weird you've done lately.

I probably do weird things all the time... but I probably consider them normal! :)

Have you opened your Etsy shop yet? I get paid this weekend and need to get an outfit for my daughter right away!

In my mind, you are all DYING to hear the answer to Rose's question, so even though I emailed her back with my response, I'll also post it here, for all the THOUSANDS of people who want to know what the heck is going on with my (not)Etsy shop.

First there was the delay with my logo. A lack of Photoshop and the ability to fix it just so.

Then there was the delay with my schedule and the samples.

Then there was the delay with the photo shoot with an adorable J, because my little munchkin was just too, shall we say, PRECOSCIOUS to patiently take direction from this here stage mother.

So. Photoshop is winging its way to me now. Logo soon.

Photo shoot is happening in the next day. Photos soon.

And I'll get the darn thing up and running sometime next week. That was QUITE the delay.

If any of you are dying to purchase a skirt/outfit for your wee one, email me and we can work it out before the world ends and I finally get this Etsy thing going. whimsyattack AT gmail DOT com.

Cheers!

It is toooo embarrassing to share and someone might hold it over my head and then I would have to hide and then we couldn't go shopping and then..... you only ate one cookie...such a good kid. "}

I have no idea. I think most of what I do is weird, but I'm probably just narcissistic. There's that psychological effect, you know, where something like 95% of people think they're "smarter than average." I think the same is probably true of weird.

I can't think of anything. Crap. I'm boring.

At least I'm smarter than average!
